Product Overview

What Is the Atlas Mini Vista?

A vertical platform lift (VPL) is a motorized platform that moves straight up and down, functioning like a small open-air elevator designed for short residential rises. Unlike a ramp, it requires no horizontal floor space. Unlike a stairlift, it carries the entire wheelchair or scooter without a transfer. The Mini Vista is Atlas's compact entry-level VPL, built for residential rises up to 30 inches.

The Mini Vista ships as a pre-assembled unit. Most homeowners install it over a weekend using basic hand tools. Because the lift uses a standard 110-volt outlet, there's no electrical work involved. The ACME screw drive system is quiet, smooth, and requires minimal maintenance over time.

Western Stairlifts sells the Mini Vista as a direct-ship product — Atlas ships it to you, and our team calls to confirm your order before it leaves the warehouse. If you're looking for a professionally installed vertical platform lift, we offer full-service options in Utah, Idaho, and Arizona.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Western Stairlifts install this product?
No. The Atlas Mini Vista is sold as a self-install unit and ships directly from the manufacturer. If you need a professionally installed vertical platform lift, visit our Vertical Platform Lifts page to explore options where we handle the full installation.
Will I need a permit to install a Mini Vista?
In most cases, no — lifts with a vertical rise under 30" fall outside residential permit requirements in Utah, Idaho, and Arizona. We recommend confirming with your local building department before installation to be sure.
What if something arrives damaged?
Document any damage on the freight bill at delivery, photograph the unit, and contact Atlas directly. Because Atlas ships this product, damage claims go through them. We're happy to help you find the right contact if needed.
Can I use this outdoors?
The Mini Vista is rated for covered outdoor use (a roof or overhang required). It is not designed for fully exposed, unprotected outdoor environments. For exposed outdoor applications, ask us about the Atlas 500 or similar units.
How long does delivery take?
After order confirmation with our team, typical lead time is 3–5 business days for freight delivery. Delivery windows are coordinated directly between you and the freight carrier.
